Our events offer fami­lies a chance to connect with faculty, explore class­rooms, and learn more about our progres­sive preschool – 12 program. Once you’ve submit­ted an inquiry, you’ll gain access to your Parent Portal, where you can regis­ter for upcom­ing events and take the next steps in the admis­sions process. See below for our sched­uled admission events.

We strongly encour­age all appli­cants to attend an Open House. These events provide a full picture of life at Waverly — includ­ing visits to class­rooms, conver­sa­tions with faculty, and oppor­tu­ni­ties to connect with current students and families.

Atten­dance at a Campus Open House is required for all High School applicants.

Tours are a great way to expe­ri­ence Waverly during a typical school day. These adult-only visits are hosted by our Admis­sion team and include time in class­rooms, a guided walk through campus, and oppor­tu­ni­ties for conver­sa­tion and ques­tions with students and staff. Tours run from October through January.

Tour times by division:

• Preschool – 6th Grade: Select Thurs­days
  9:00 –10:30 a.m. | Elemen­tary Campus
  Tours are for parents and caregivers only.

• Middle School (Grades 7 – 8): Select Tues­days and Thurs­days
  9:00 –10:30 a.m. | Upper Campus
  Tours are for parents and caregivers only.

• High School (Grades 9 – 12): Select Wednes­days
  9:00 –10:30 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. | Upper Campus

These virtual events offer a mean­ing­ful way to connect with our commu­nity — parents, students, alumni, and teach­ers — and gain deeper insight into what makes Waverly unique. Regis­ter through your Parent Portal after submit­ting your inquiry.

Student Visit Days allow appli­cants to expe­ri­ence Waverly’s class­rooms, connect with peers, and engage with our faculty. These visits are a required part of the admis­sions process and take place after an appli­ca­tion has been submitted.

Once your appli­ca­tion is submit­ted, you’ll be able to sched­ule your child’s visit through the check­list in the Parent Portal.

Preschool & Kinder­garten: Play­date Visit (Required)

All preschool and kinder­garten appli­cants attend a 50-minute play­date visit on Friday, January 24, 2026.

Chil­dren will partic­i­pate in small group activ­i­ties led by Waverly faculty in a relaxed, play-based setting. No prepa­ra­tion is needed.

Grades 1 – 6: Student Visit Day (Required)

All appli­cants for Grades 1 – 6 are required to attend a Student Visit on a regular school day. During the visit, students will join their grade-level class, partic­i­pate in Morning Meeting and our Elemen­tary School Meeting, engage in class­room activ­i­ties, and spend time with current Waverly students. No prepa­ra­tion is needed. Parents are invited to stay for coffee and to attend our Elemen­tary School Meeting.

Visit Days are held on Fridays from January 9 through Febru­ary 27. You may regis­ter through the Parent Portal after your appli­ca­tion is submitted.

Middle School: Visit Day (Required)

All appli­cants to Grades 7 and 8 attend our Middle School Visit Day on: Wednes­day, Febru­ary 4, 2026 | 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Students will join Waverly’s middle school­ers in classes and commu­nity activ­i­ties to get a feel for life at the Upper Campus.

If you are unable to attend the tour date of your choice, our Open Houses are a great oppor­tu­nity to learn more about the school, hear from our student-centered faculty, and see the campus.
