Waverly uses the Clarity Appli­ca­tion to assess a family’s finan­cial need. The appli­ca­tion consid­ers factors such as income, expenses, assets, and debts. Fami­lies can complete the Clarity appli­ca­tion online in about 30 minutes — it’s mobile-friendly, easy to use, and allows you to save your progress and return at any time.

• Appli­ca­tion fee: $60 (includes the option to share your appli­ca­tion with other partic­i­pat­ing schools at no extra cost)

In addi­tion to the Clarity appli­ca­tion, prospec­tive fami­lies should also complete Waverly’s admis­sions appli­ca­tion and connect with the Admis­sions Office.

Required Docu­ments

• Prior-year federal and state tax returns with match­ing income state­ments (e.g., W‑2 or 1099)

• Current year income statements

• Form 4506‑C: Allows Clarity to retrieve your prior-year tax return elec­tron­i­cally. Please note: some­times a manual upload is requested.

• Busi­ness owners: Upload all rele­vant tax docu­ments and sched­ules directly to Clarity

• Please note: appli­cants should be prepared to log into the Clarity app regu­larly to confirm docu­ments are received.

Clarity offers live webi­nars to help guide fami­lies through the appli­ca­tion process. The webi­nars will cover the Clarity appli­ca­tion as well as the new Enhanced Tax Veri­fi­ca­tion (ETV) process. Webi­nars are recorded and will include an open Q&A with fami­lies.
