Applying to Middle School (7th and 8th)
Waverly’s Middle School is thoughtfully designed for the unique needs of 7th and 8th graders, offering greater independence, deeper academic engagement, and meaningful opportunities for self-expression. Students explore complex ideas through a rich and integrated curriculum that includes math, science, humanities, Spanish, the arts, physical education, and electives.
Social-emotional learning is woven throughout, with dedicated time for advisory, human development, and community connection. By the end of Middle School, students know themselves as learners and individuals, and are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of high school.
